We had a very nice one and hope you did too. This is our Christmas Branch, which me’n’Marmers did find a tad disappointing, as it takes a lot less undecorating than a whole tree: all our feline friends will know what I mean, purrticularly that rowdy lot, 4catgang, who not only do the undecorating, but also the total tree destruction scenario. Respec’ to 4catgang!
There must be something peculiarly bolshie about French cats, but that’s no surprise when you think about it.
Here’re me’n’Marmers enjoying our Chrissie dinner – Marmers had the honour of getting first dibs on Boris&Spock’s holographic placemat: I’m told that Mia also has one, so naturally, I’m all-of-a-flutter just thinking about us almost sharing the same purrlace at dinner!
Though I hope Marmers doesn’t get any ideas…
Fpu had a local peasant which did her two nights…
Nice to see a well decorated branch. We got as far as the lights on our falsie-tree and gave up.
Glad the mat is being used – though I’m not sure cats can focus on holgrams. However, I’m sure it will amuse the pus, if not the pusses.
Hope you have a great hog-ma-nanny when it comes.
Well, what a spoilt pair you two are and what a lovely decorated branch you’re fpu gave you. Did she enjoy her “local peasant”tell her to send me one for new year!!
What a braw pair o pussies youse two are:::and what a lovely place mat. Old dear never, EVER, gies us summat so nice. Stingy old git, she is.Two of us– Marmeduke and Gabby the tabby had a super, duper time shredding the tree in two daze, all was DESTROYED!!! Day one, stupid imitation parcels were shredded, day two the actual plastic greenery, but the icing and the cherry on the cake was our “pre-crilnles dinner” of old dears, poinsetta😀
One of the finest branches I have seen this year. Tell the fpu that she could have made her peasant last longer if he was well hung.
😆
I wanted to say that, but didn’t dare 😀but the next time she has “her peasant” may I come and share the “peasant”?😀
flippin heck, now the b****y cats are speaking fur me
And if you look karefully, you kan see the little kitties on the (I)KEA furniture, sleeping off their repast, no doubt. No sign of the peasant, though. Where IS he, don’t you all wonder?? I understand that there are not so many kubby-holes in CCC.
He didn’t survive the new oven for long. His remains are now in the stockpot. Sorley Bean eat your heart out…or purrobably, somebody else’s.
The peasant’s not for eating …?
Waht else would you do with a peasant these days in dear old Blighty? We’ve got 18 millionaires in the cabinet you know😀
glad you and your pus had a better christmas than the pheasant!!
wishing you all a very happy new year, Frances
peasant………just wondering if your fpu has turnned cannibal?????
Pussibly just hopeful…
I’m delighted to see that you’n’Marmers got into the Christmas spirit by sharing a Poang! Peace and goodwill to all kitties! And I must say, a decorated branch is a dead loss as far as cats are concerned. Something climbable is required, a la Simon’s Cat 🙂
Finally managed to sneak on whilst junior and male staff are otherwise engaged. 😀
Socks and I do indeed have a holo mat courtesy of madlamb and her cadre and very colourful it is too. Female staff winced (but then that could have been to do with the amount of champagne she indulged in!!)
We have a fibre optic tree which came ready decorated so all staff needed to do was straighten out the branches and switch it on. Socks thoroughly approves…. and has been having fun with the tinsel decorated items about the living room. So far he has managed to restrain himself and leave the baubles alone. Any bets as to how long that will last.
Its been raining here and we finally have clear pavements. Senior staff may be allowed to leave their basement 😛
Will they paint their faces blue and exit crying “Freeeeeeeedom” I wonder…😀
Senior female staff probably will. Along with pulling wheelies on her mobility scooter down the main street. 😛
o,o freedom,o,o freedom,over me-e-e
but b’fore i’ll be a slave,i’ll be —etc etc etc!!
Now listen carefully KC dear friend,we’s been gawping at yer fotos again and do you REALLY want us to believe, that you and marmers hive’nae touched a single wun o yon burdies oan the branch??? Aye,right!
Not a one. We iz good kitties smug mode
dinnae tell that to the old dear-she’ll hae oor guts fer garters
I’m relieved to see that neither Marmers nor KC seem to be eating MoMeChunks, i believe it is a vurry sooperior type of catfood wot they appear to be eating….
Liquorice and Fudge enjoyed the turkey left overs, and then on boxing Day the ham left overs…. and then when I boiled the whole lot up for soup, they enjoyed the left over left over left overs… I think…..
Well done landlady! You reminded me about the MoMeChunks just in time for me to remind fpu to take them with her to Brechin tomorrow. If she doesn’t get lost, in which case she’ll purrobably end up eating them in a layby. It’s going to be an Awfully Big Adventure…
It’s kind of you to take the MoMeChunks on a Big Adventure, and I’m sure they’ll appreciate it, but I think they would have been just as happy with a trip ,say, to the local park in a baby buggy. You’re spoiling them!! we have taken a pair of headphones and a table cloth, (intended for George St ),to Millport and back several times in a box in the back of the car.. and they seem unimpressed….
I wonder why😀
Well KC. If I understood the posting in “island threads’ I am very sorry to hear of the passing of MPU,. My deepest respect to FPU for the carering. roy.
Thank you very much Roy. We didn’t want to make a blogging fuss. However we might manage a small tribute if I can purrsuade my staff to get off her facebook…
Ha yes it’s a bit addicitive, facebook isn’t it? soon we will have you Facebook stalking, or even fraping your friends, KC.. 😆
I wouldn’t lower myself landlady. I have my dignity after all. I leave that sort of thing to the bipeds 😆
:roll:/b>
What were you trying to say, taddoe?
🙄
